-Hi, I'm Bonnie Cha, Senior Editor of CNET.com and we're here in Barcelona Spain for Mobile World Congress and HTC has made a few of announcements.
One of which is the HTC Wildfire S, this is an update to the Wildfire, which is an entry level of android smartphone.
They have actually made the device smaller.
It is one of the smallest devices that HTC has made, really nice and compact.
They've improved the screen resolution and double the pixels and I definitely noticed a difference here; it looks a lot better.
HTC will make the Wildfire S in several different colors including the white, black, and purple.
It has a 5 mega pixel camera on the back.
It has Android OS and it looks like its running 2.3.
Again, this is more of an entry level device; it's gonna be shipping in Europe and Asia [unk].
No word yet on US availability, but the original Wildfire did release with Alltel, so, its
possible that it will be headed our way.
I'm Bonnie Cha and this has been your first look at the HTP Wildfire S.
