How to use the new Camera app in iOS 7Apple redesigned the camera app in iOS 7 and added new features. These tips will help both new and longtime iOS users get started.
The iPhone is one of the most popular devices for taking pictures. In iOS 7, the camera received a new interface that added even more features that will make your photos look better than ever. The first time you enter the camera app, you will notice that Apple shifted things around. The HDR setting can now be activated at the top of the screen asking a front-facing camera and the flash menu. Apple also removed the toggle switch for recording videos. A simple swipe of your finger from left to right will bring the video mode while scrolling from right to left, will display the normal camera app. If you continue to scroll to the right, you will be graded with a new setting for taking square photos followed by panorama mode. A common complaint among iPhone owners was the inability to zoom while recording a video. This is no longer an issue, thanks to familiar pinch and zoom gesture which can now be used in video mode. Other features Apple added include burst mode, which can be enabled by holding the shutter button, an Instagram-like filters that can be found under the lower right-hand side of the screen. Can't seem to find the camera's old good feature? No need to panic, it hasn't been removed but rather relocate the phone's settings under the photo and camera option.
