How apps can save data versus the webEver wonder whether you should use apps or just read the same stuff in your web browser?
[NOISE] [MUSIC] I'm Shamus Bend from Cnet with another quick tip on saving mobile data. When you're browsing news and informaiton sites, your web browser can often use more data than using an actual app. That's because every time you load a page in a web browser, it needs to pull all of the images and site data and everything to load that page in and make it look good. An app is just getting the words and pictures customized To the needs of the app. It's a little thing, but it can really add up over time. So if you always go to the same websites, why not grab their apps from your friendly neighborhood app store instead? [MUSIC]
