Headphones of the new fragrances as celebrities from Justin Bieber to Snooki lined up to release the running models.
Hi.
I'm Todd VanDerWerff from CNET, and this is a review of the House of Marley Smile Jamaica Headphones.
Despite its ties to the now dead musician, the House of Marley brand isn't a cheap fashion.
By taking in environmentally and socially responsible attitude, the brand differentiates itself from a market full of Beats imitators.
The company's molds
to make a headphone standout for a couple of reasons.
Firstly, they are luridly colored, but more importantly they constructed from renewable materials which includes Sapele, which fittingly is a wood also used to make guitars.
For a $30 headset, it's very well put together and there are some great touches including a rugged connector and a fabric cover.
You also get a little carry case to store them in.
If you're a fan of Bob Marley's all reggae in general, you'd expect them to give strong bass and to live an excellent vocal detail.
Yes, they
are very good at delivering detail bass and if you like any bass heavy stall, then you'll likely love the sound of these headphones.
Vocals do take a backseat larger to the sheer amount of bass but they're good all the genres such as jazz and even acoustic music.
For 30 bucks, the House of Marley Smile Jamaica are a good step above freebie headphones and perfect if you want something that will walk a little bit harder.
This has been Todd VanderWerff for CNET.com.
