Hands-on with the thinnest point-and-click so farJosh Goldman gives you the skinny on the Canon PowerShot Elph 520 HS.
Hey, there. I'm Josh Goldman, Senior Editor with CNET here at CES 2012. Now, CES really is known for its great (??) shoot releases but this is an exception this year. It's the Canon PowerShot Elph 520 HS. Now, what's so special about this camera is that it is the world's thinnest camera with a 28 millimeter wide angle lens and a 12 X zoom. The body is only just about 3 quarters of an inch thick. Now to get it that small, they had to switch to a micro SD card. So you might have to go out and buy a new card for this one and it has a nice 3-inch LCD on (back?)and it shoots fully (still?) videos. Just a really nice (point shoot?) for its price at 299. They'll be available in March. I'm Josh Goldman here at CES 2012. That's the Canon PowerShot Elph 520 HS.
