Google Assistant rolling out to Android devices now
Google Assistant is coming to more devices.
Google Assistant is Google's virtual assistant similar to Amazon's Alexa and Apple's Siri.
Assistant originally was available on a small number of devices like the Google Pixel phone and Google Smart Speaker Google Home.
Last week Google announced Assistant would become available to android devices running Android 6.0 and higher.
Assistant is rolling out now The feature will arrive update in Google play services.
The update will first come to english users in the US, Australia, Canada, and the UK will follow.
Google says it will add more languages in the course of the year.
During mobile world congress, several hardware makers announce Google assistant will become available in their phones including LG with it's G6.
The virtual assistant market is becoming more competitive in the mobile world Early this year HUAWEI announced it was going to bring Amazon's Alexa to the Mate 9, Alexa will also find a home in Motorola phones including the Moto Z.
Samsung is rumoured to be building it's own voice assistant called Bixby, which could arrive with the Galaxy S8 in March.
