CNET First Look
Get hitched with the ZTE EngageDespite its name, don't feel obligated to get committed with the ZTE Engage. That's because this device from Cricket Wireless comes contract-free. It also sports an 8-megapixel camera, a 4.3-inch screen, and Muve Music.
-Hello everybody. It's Lynn La from CNET, and today, we're gonna take a look at the ZTE Engage from Cricket Wireless. Now, ZTE is known for its wide array of midlevel devices, but the Engage is more higher end than what we usually see. This 3G handset packs a 4.3-inch WVGA touchscreen that has an 800 x 480 pixel resolution. The phone also runs on a nearly skinless Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS. On the back is an 8-megapixel camera that can record 720p video and you also get a front-facing VGA camera. Powering the phone is a 1.4-gigahertz processor and a 1.9 ampere-hour battery. This will give you a reported talk time of about eight hours. Other features include Cricket's music subscription service, Muve Music, which lets you listen to and download thousands of albums and songs. You also get 1 gig of RAM and 32 gigs of expandable memory via a microSD card. If you're interested, this contract-free device was initially going for $250. Again, I'm Lynn and this has been Cricket Wireless's ZTE Engage.
