Get emojis on your Android phone
Got a minute?
Here's how to get emoji's on your Android phone.
First, check and see if your phone can actually display emoji's.
The easiest way to do this is to do a simple search for the word emoji.
If you see the icons, you're in luck.
Then see if your current keyboard has emoji's built in.
Open up a text message and look for a smiley face icon.
On some phones you might find this by pressing and holding the microphone button.
If you can't see anything, the next step is to switch your keyboard input.
When in the text box, swipe down from the top of the screen and select a different keyboard.
Still can't find emojis?
Download a third-party keyboard like Swype or Google Keyboard.
Remember that emojis can look totally different between devices, like sending from Android to iPhone and vice versa.
