Frigidaire wants to do better than other moderately priced ovensThe $1,150 Frigidaire FGGF3058RF is a decent gas range with a couple of fun bonus features that try to make it stand apart from similar appliances.
[MUSIC] At first glance, this Frigidaire gas range seems to give a few more extras and features than we expect for an oven that costs $1150. There's a convection convert feature that will lower the temperature to make sure that your goods bake really nicely when the convection fan is in use. There's also a Pizza button that bakes just for your favorite frozen or fresh pie. But, once we started cooking with this oven, it really performed about on par with other products that we've seen in this price range. It's great at boiling water. But, it's broil times were a little slow. Especially, when you compared it to other [MUSIC] Other gas ovens. And it was a little tricky to use if you wanted to enable some of the special features. Like the pizza button or the convection converter. Overall, this Frigidaire gas oven is a decent product. It's comparable to what you would expect for an oven in this price range. Unfortunately, it just doesn't. Might live up to the promise that it presents at first [SOUND].
