Ethical manufacturing petition delivered to San Francisco Apple StoreRepresentatives from Change.org hand deliver a printed Internet petition with 250,000 signatures to Apple's flagship store in San Francisco.
This is standing on solid air. These workers in China primarily who are suffering on a regular basis from suffering of the hands, suffering of legs, swelling limbs on a regular basis, right. The second is this is not organized as a distributed organizing campaign by an organization, right. It's by individuals and four continents around the country demonstrating the capacity of people to come together on issues they care about on a regular basis, right. The service instinct is this is not just about Apple, all right. It represents a new movement of people and consumer advocacy with issues of world organizations and brand you love, you can immediately rapidly respond, coordinate with others and start a movement online and off and the significance of this is if Apple changed it's policies, it doesn't change one company because the iconic nature of this company, it changes two and then ten and a hundred. Not just impact a million lives what you could directly but tons of millions and hundreds of millions around the world. We deliver 250,000 petition signature from petitions on change.org and someofus.org to Apple here in San Francisco. We met with the representative who took these two big boxes of signatures from us and said that he would be contacting Apple's management right away and speaking with them.
