Hey I'm Donald bell for cnet.com -- and going to give a first look at Android tablet from -- called streak. As -- five -- capacity touch screen. -- the customized version of Android one point six. Includes Wi-Fi BG connection is due out August around 500 dollars unlocked. Or possibly -- -- subsidized by care. And why not since the thing is really just an oversight Smartphone. In his ear piece in a mouthpiece for making calls he compared to Bluetooth headset and wired stereo head that comes included. Call quality is pretty good Q which is probably helped by the fact that the earpiece and -- migrant actually position by ear and mouth. You feel a little like -- talking to a paperback book but it works. So is -- a -- -- tablet either confusing times we live in folks here's what we're calling the tablet these days and here's an Android phone. Can mean it makes calls and it fits in your pocket it's a phone. Some other features -- -- that and more phone and tablet include a five megapixel camera on the back. With a built in flash and -- front facing VGA camera both of which can be used for video or photos. A button for the camera mode is right up here on top along with the power button volume rocker and standard headphone Jack. On the bottom there's a thirty -- connection which works with including USB cable for charging or data transfer. As lost and accessories that are planned including AV dock. On the back you have the speaker and removable cover that can kill the battery sim card and included sixteen gigabyte micro SD card. It's worth noting that if you remove the cover while the device is still on it -- automatically shut down some protective measure. Which is kind of a -- just my swap out the memory card. Finally there's the front which is covered in extremely resilient guerrilla glass. There -- three capacity of buttons on the right for back menu and home. The screen -- -- isn't very quick which is helped by one gigahertz that dragon processor. The UI -- -- -- you'd expect me Android Smartphone only if it oriented for landscape. The app -- the notifications -- across the top here and you can quickly flip between multiple home screens. This geek ships with Android one point six -- -- saying -- over the air update to 2.2. Will be available down the road. Which also bring flash video support. Web pages load pretty quick and I -- decent room on the five inch screen. Email works too although one -- worth mentioning is that Dell opted out and numeric keypad and keyboard. As a way to fill up the extra space on the screen maybe he'll love it I thought a little awkward offset my thumbs over the QWERTY keyboard. Of course it's also music video maps voice search all the other features you'd expect from Android. -- get full access to Android app marketplace. Which is a first for an Android tablet that's that you wanna call this. Battery life is made out almost ten hours of talk time. But considering that the screen brightness is turned -- pretty low by default we're not expecting that's a realistic number for real world use. It's about the Dell streak super duper Android Smartphone flash tablet with impressive features and speedy performance. Whose biggest challenge is it's awkward in between size. Cnet.com.
