This replaces Canon's popular compact over compact. The resolution is increased to 8 mega pixels. It has the same 3x zoom lens. The big thing is the introduction of image stabilization that uses Canon's Optical Stabilization Technology. I happen to think that the brown is a really nice color and should be very popular this year. It is 250 dollars which is a little pricey, but as I said it replaces a very popular model and I expect this one should be pretty popular as well.
