>> Kent German: Hi I'm Kent German Senior Editor here at CNET.com. Today we're taking a first look at the Duet D888. This phone actually has 2 SIM card slots. While we know that dual SIM card phones have been around for awhile this is the first one that we've actually reviewed and it is one of the first approved by the FCC for use in the United States. The phone is unlocked so if you buy it you do get a prepaid SIM from Cellular Broad for use overseas. But you can actually use your US SIM card in here and you can even buy a SIM card overseas, not use that Cellular Broad SIM card and use the phone as you wish. So it's great to have that unlocked model as well. The phone does have a pretty plastic feel so it doesn't feel that fantastic in the hand. I'd be a little ware of using this as my primary phone if I was a really, really heavy user but if you're mid-range user probably not a huge problem. Display is quite nice actually; pretty bright and colorful. Square toggle with a central ok button. You have 2 soft keys here. You actually have 2 calling buttons. One's right here, one's on the bottom. So you can dial a number and then choose to call it from the SIM 1 or SIM 2 and a dedicated button for the FM radio. Like every other cell phone you do need an antenna for the FM radio but what's nice is this phone does have an integrated antenna. You don't need to use a headset as an antenna which is nice. You do get a headset in the box. You also get a USB cable and even a second battery. Here on the back, speakers on either side, camera just slides down like that. There's a 2 megapixel camera, photo quality is just ok so camera options are pretty limited. Phone does have a actually an option for mobile TV. Couldn't really figure out what it was the quality was so bad that I almost couldn't tell what I was watching I don't know where these channels are coming from. So other options include a limited personal organizer. There is Bluetooth. You get a speaker phone. You get a couple of games. It has a 300 contact phone book. Would like a unified messaging inbox as of now I have to go into SIM 1 look at the messages there and then go into SIM 2 and look for the messages there. So call quality is pretty decent. Not the best I've seen. Speaker phone is just ok but really this phone is about those 2 SIM cards. [Background music] It's just a great option. I'm Ken Sherman and this is the Duet D888.
