Asus Memo Pad FHD 10 tablet offers much for a reasonable priceThe 10-inch slate rocks a sharp screen and comfortable design.
Hi. I'm Xiomara Blanco for CNET. And this is the Asus Memo Pad FHD 10. This comfortably designed 10-inch tablet features a sharp screen and competitive pricing. The tablet houses a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom Processor, 2 Gigabytes of RAM and comes with 16 Gigabytes or 32 Gigabytes of internal storage. It rocks a sharp 1920x1200-pixel resolution IPS screen with good viewing angles. The screen range of colors isn't as impressive as the smaller Asus Memo Pad HD 7 but it includes a Asus calibration software to tweak it to your liking. The left edge is home to the micro HDMI and micro USB ports as well as the micro SD expansion slot. The tablets 2 speakers are located on the back along with the 5-megapixel rear camera. The right edge houses the volume rocker and headphone jack with the power button and microphone pin-hole located on the top edge. On the front we have a 2-megapixel front-facing camera with the ambient light sensor about an inch away to its left. The micro [unk] texture on the tablets back for guides of [unk] yet comfortable surface for holding on too and the bezels are wide enough for your thumbs to comfortably sit. The Memopad FHD 10 weighs 1.3 pounds and thanks to its aforementioned back. It doesn't get terribly uncomfortable after holding it for a long time. The tablet also comes loaded with audio wizard, which significantly enhances the audio quality of movies, music and gaming and is quickly accessible from the handy floating apps dock. Game performance is good for simple mobile games. The tablet starts at $329 for the 16 gigabyte model and considering the tablet with better specs cost about $80 more if that's more than you want to spend for a 10-inch tablet.
