All right guys, I have good news for anyone who is currently in the market for a smart thermostat.
The thermostats are getting smarter and smarter and the prices are getting lower and lower.
As evidence today by the Carrier Cor 5C and 7C smart thermostat.
These models will retail for $139 and $169 respectively and will be available in the middle of 2017.
So here's the great news They look really sleek and stylish.
They cost less than a [INAUDIBLE] thermostat, and they do roughly the same thing.
They have built-in programmable [INAUDIBLE].
They have a related app where you can track your energy savings, set ideal temperature settings, get alerts if there any issues, if the temperature goes higher than you want it to or lower than you want it to and you wanna make sure your family or your pets are safe The best news of all is that it integrates with two different voice control companies.
So it'll work with the Amazon Echo and it'll also work with Apple's HomeKit Siri.
So you can say Alexa, set the temperature to 72 degrees or Siri, set the temperature to 70 degrees and they'll do it for you.
It's totally crazy and a whole new world for the connected thermostat market.
