This is CNET, and here the stories that matter right now.
According to a Bloomberg report, Apple might have an augmented reality headset in the works leaning into the mixed reality balancing act, that draws from multiple different technologies, however don't expect to see anything until 2019, maybe even 2020 in till anything actually goes on sale.
Starting next year, Google's Chrome browser will block sites that redirect you to another URL.
And in the version following that, the software will also prevent sites from navigating elsewhere when a new tab is opened.
Chrome is the most used browser on the internet, with Apple's Safari clocking in at a distant second.
And finally, Instagram is removing the 24 hour time limit on the media users can upload to the stories feature.
Instagram says the move is following data and trends on the platform where younger users have been observed posting and then deleting pictures in their main feeds.
Look for the update in the Instagram app soon.
