An update to one of the best budget laptops, the HP Stream 11
One of our favorite cheap laptops gets a makeover.
I'm Dan Ackerman and this is the HP Stream 11 2015 edition.
Last year's original version of this was really a pleasant surprise.
It was a super inexpensive, under $200 11 inch clamshell laptop that ran full Windows 8 for about the same price as a Chromebook.
I had a decent keyboard, very good battery life and was generally fairly usable considering it costs less than $200.
The sequel is here, it does not change a heck of a lot, you do get a slightly updated Intel Celeron processor.
You still have an 11 inch and there's a 13 inch.
Version both with 1366x768 nontouch displays.
And just a little bit, just 32 gigs of flash memory inside.
But this new version does come with some new colors, including blue and purple and silver.
And it's just a tiny bit thinner than last year's version.
The screen has also been improved, so it's a little easier to see, especially from side angles.
And of course it keeps that all important price Under $200 for the 11 inch version, $229 for the 13.
I am Dan Ackerman, and that is the HP Stream.
