Alienware 13 gaming laptop slims down
I'm Dan Ackerman.
And we're taking a first look at a new gaming laptop from Alienware.
This is the Alienware 13.
So it's a little bit smaller than your average gaming laptop.
Alienware's made a 14 inch system for a while now.
Obviously, they're best known for their bigger 17 inch laptops.
They used to make an 11 inch.
They don't make that one anymore.
So something in between here.
Is this 13 inch compared to the 14 even though the screen is only an inch smaller, it's actually a lot thinner, following the trend these days towards thinner, lighting gaming systems.
Certainly nothing wrong with that.
It's going to have low voltage Intel processors.
The screen, you can get a 1080p screen.
You can get a lower res screen but I don't know why you would, but you could also get a higher res 2560 by 1440 display.
I like that a lot.
As of right now, the GPU is in a video GeForce 860M.
You know, that could certainly change later on because both Nvidia and Intel should have new generations of products, hopefully by the end of the year.
But we're gonna have to wait and see.
I'm Dan Ackerman and that's the Alienware 13.
