[MUSIC] And over here at the hustle and bustle of CES unveiled, the big kick-off event for the Consumer Electronics Showcase in Las Vegas. And I'm here with the new Alexa enabled iDevices Instinct Switch. This is a new smart wi-fi light switch You can control on your phone like other iDevices which is for the big upgrade here is that it also has Alexa built in. You can activate it by saying a wake word Alexa or by touching the button on the front there. You can ask her to dim the lights up and down or turn them on or off or you could ask any of the other Alexa functions you might normally use. From playing your flash, briefing, telling you a bad joke or adding something to your shopping list. All that is accessible right from the light switch The iDevices tells us that the Instincts which will include Amazon's ESP feature when it launches later this year, that ESP feature means that only the elected device closest to you will respond to your command, that's really great if you have multiple rates of devices in your home like multiple light switches, you don't want all of them answering you when you say Alexa. There's no price set yet for the iDevices Existing switch, but it is coming later this year. We'll be keeping an eye out for it, and testing it out in the CNET Smart home as soon as we can. [MUSIC]
