Adult-only Kinect games
It's Thursday December 16th.
I'm Natali Morris and it's time to get loaded.
Facebook will soon release its facial recognition software that will tag your photos with people's names more automatically.
It doesn't do this completely autonomously.
It takes your uploaded photos, and presents you with a list of suggested names to tag those photos with.
Facebook has a huge database of photos from which they can learn what we all look like;
there are over a hundred million photos uploaded to the site everyday.
But don't worry, you still can un-tag unflattering photos- Facebook won't fight you on that.
MetroPCS has a 4G network up and running and it is expanding quickly.
We've been waiting for 4G from the Big Four networks, but MetroPCS seems to be implementing faster than most with 3 new 4G networks in New York, Boston and Sacramento.
The service is already available in 6 other major markets with 5 more planned for early next year.
Now, keep in mind,
the only 4G-enabled phone on MetroPCS is the Samsung Craft.
Google Chrome is ready for work.
Google announced that the new and improved browser Ecosystem has been optimized for business use; meaning that IT administrators can configure and deploy it on Windows, Mac and Linux machines.
So you may soon be able to use it at work.
In other Google news, the company is in trouble in France for anti-competitive practices.
The French Competition Authorities, says that it had found certain possible conduct on the part of Google intended to
discourage delay, or eliminate competitors.
Of course, Google does not agree with this, finding that the government is now looking to use existing laws to basically make them stop that.
And we knew this was coming- adult material on Microsoft Connect.
A company called Thrill XXX makes 3D role play sex simulation games.
They released a demo of this kind of thing using Microsoft Connect.
Until this story, I had never heard 3D role play sex simulation.
It brings up so many more questions than answers.
There's a link to a video demonstration, and the show notes: Not Safe For Work.
And finally, if you have fond memories of your tricycle days, you might wanna check out the PIET, that stands for Plug-In Electric Tricycle.
It is a German-designed mobile that is intended for easy urban transport.
You wouldn't wanna ride it in this freezing weather that we've been having on the East Coast.
But for warmer days, you could be the talk of the town in this baby.
Those are your headlines for today.
