A smart watch that tells more than just timeAt CES 2012, Rafe Needleman checks out the I'm Watch, an Android-powered smart watch that you might actually wear.
Hi, this is Rafe Needleman with a first look of the I'm Watch. This is a smart watch that you might actually want to wear because it's not hideously ugly. Now this is an Android 1.6 powered device. Of course it tells the time but it uses Bluetooth and Bluetooth tethering to connect to your phone. So it will, say, display the caller ID of the person who's calling you on your phone or connect to the internet to get weather services, Twitter, Facebook, stuff like that. It plays music. It has a built in headphone jack. The product starts at 349. There are different lines... using different materials. You can get it in gold if you want to, and it's a very interesting device because as people stop using their wrists for wristwatches because they can now tell time on their cellphones. They're looking for devices like this that'll do so much more. The battle for the wrist has begun and I think the I'm Watch is one of the best products in that fight.
