Packaging

Wacom's packaging is unusally well designed and easy to repack if necessary. The Paper edition comes in two boxes, essentially a bundle of the Pro and Paper accessories.

Pro Pen 2 and holder

The redesigned holder still stores extra nibs, but has a flatter look and classier matte metal construction.

Just the Intuos Pro

To reduce the size, Wacom got rid of a lot of bezel.

Controls

It has the same eight ExpressKeys and Touch Ring layout as previous models, but they've been redesigned for a slightly more modern look.

New buttons

Wacom added a power switch (because of the built-in-Bluetooth) and a dedicated touch on-off control. The pinhole is for resetting the tablet's internal settings.

Nib replacement

To change the nib, you take it out of the stand and stick it in the hole on the bottom. You then twist the stylus to insert or remove it.

Paper edition carrying case

While it would be nice if the tablet came with a carrying case, too, this is a pretty nice one for stashing your accessories and pens.

Pro Pen 2

You can change the ring color around the head for self-expression or to be able to recognize yours if it hangs out in a crowd of other Wacom pens.
