The T-Mobile Comet is a rebranded version of the Huawei Ideos, an affordable Android phone. The Comet is free with a two-year contract, or you can get it as a prepaid option for $200.
Despite being an entry-level device, the Comet ships with Android 2.2 and offers full wireless options. You also get a 3.2-megapixel camera, and the phone offers great call quality.
The T-Mobile Comet features a compact, lightweight design and measures just 4.09 inches tall by 2.16 inches wide by 0.54 inch thick and 3.6 ounces.
The phone feels solid in the hand, but unfortunately, the plastic piece covering the navigation array at the bottom started peeling off on our review unit.
The Comet has a 3.2-megapixel camera with digital zoom and video recording capabilities. You don't get a ton of editing options, but there are settings for white balance, picture quality, and geotagging.
