The "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" global press conference on Sunday revealed new tidbits about the movie, which debuts in theaters on December 16. Held at the Letterman Digital and New Media Arts Center in San Francisco at Lucasfilm headquarters, the press conference gave us a taste without giving away the good stuff.

Director Gareth Edwards says he talked with Star Wars creator George Lucas over the phone after Lucas saw "Rogue One" and gave Edwards his approval. Edwards said he can "die happy now."

Felicity Jones, who plays Jyn Erso, the protagonist in "Rogue One," says she's used to movies where she's wearing a corset, but the action in "Rogue One" was a totally new experience to her.

Donnie Yen, who plays blind warrior Chirrut Imwe, brings visceral action that we've never seen before in a Star Wars movie. Yen was asked about Eastern philosophies and the Force. He said, "Everyone has the Force."

Mads Mikkelsen plays Jyn Erso's father, Galen Erso, in the film. He says the movie is not morally black or white like it used to be in the past. "Rogue One" is more complex and morally gray.
