The Shure SE115 is a step-up from the company's bottom-of-the-line SE110 earphones. The SE115s list for $120, but can be found for closer to $100 online.
The SE115 earphones are Shure's most colorful set, available in your choice of black, red, blue, and pink versions.
As is typical with Shure earbuds, the SE115s come with an array of cushy foam tips and silicone sleeves in a variety of sizes. You also get a zippered carrying case and a detachable extender cable.
The main earphone cable terminates in a sturdy Y, which is capped with a gold-plated 3.5mm straight plug.
The Shure SE115 earphones perform best on the low end. Bass is king here, which means the 'buds will be most suitable for reggae and hip-hop fans.
You'll find better detail and clarity from competitors, such as the Etymotic HF5 and the Altec Lansing BackBeat 326.
