Samsung's largest tablet to date is an 18.4-inch behemoth. A few years ago, it would have been unheard of to create a tablet so large, but with Apple's forthcoming iPad Pro and Microsoft's Surface Pro 4, super-size devices are becoming the norm.

The Galaxy View still stands out, measuring 6 inches bigger than its competitors.

You probably wouldn't want to play games on the Galaxy View, but you could.

Of course there's kickstand -- a tablet this big needs a way to stand up on its own. It's built into the back of the Galaxy View and lies flat when stowed.

That cut-out at the top acts as a handle for easy toting.

The tablet's wide screen can be used for presentations or watching a video.

Samsung's really pushing this tablet as an entertainment device. With a full HD display (1,920x1,080 pixels), movies will look good.

There's a headphone jack and charging port on the right.

Samsung created an overlay that puts multimedia apps Netflix and Hulu front and center.

You can close that overlay and get back to Android 5.1 Lollipop, where you can use all the typical apps you'd want.

Inside, the tablet has a 1.6GHz octa-core processor that won't wow gamers, but will do fine for playing videos. There's also Bluetooth and support for 4G LTE.

Samsung hasn't said when this will go on sale or how much it will cost, but it's clearly aimed at families, not businesses.
