Razer's new product range includes the Deathadder Elite gaming mouse, the Ornata Chroma "mecha-membrane" keyboard and the Kraken 7.1 V2 headset.
Razer's new Deathadder Elite is the most accurate gaming mouse in the world. That's not hyperbole, it's got the sensors to back it up.
The Deathadder Elite also has the same two side buttons as the regular Deathadder.
The grippy tread on the scroll wheel is a great new addition, and plays very well in conjunction with the rubber side grips.
Those two buttons behind the scroll wheel help to control the incredible sensitivity on the fly.
The Kraken 7.1 V2 headset is huge. Like, really huge.
The headband is a unibody aluminium design, and it gives the headset a very light, very sturdy feel.
The over-ear cups have decent passive noise reduction and are really comfortable for long gaming sessions.
The size adjustments are locked in, numbered notches. No slipping here.
The mic is fully retractable and able to filter out background noise. You can also mute it by clicking the tip.
The Ornata keyboard uses "mecha-membrane" switches -- a mix between mechanical and membrane tech. Go figure.
The switches are quieter than most fully mechanical keyboards, and Razer says they offer faster actuation.
While purists will still prefer fully mechanical switches in their gaming keyboards, I found the hybrid Ornata a great split for gaming and general use.
Like every Razer product on the list, you can use the Synapse app to program LED colours and patterns.
The magnetized armrest is one of my favourite inclusions here. It snaps in very easily and offers great palm and wrist support.
