4GB isn't enough for you? Use the D2's SD card expansion slot to add more memory.
Navigating the D2 will seem familiar to PDA users. You can activate the touch screen with a poke of your finger, or you can use the itty-bitty stylus that Cowon includes for the purpose.
You'll have the D2 kicking back in the palm of your hand in no time--be sure to appreciate its cool, brushed-metal body.
OK, so it's sort of square shaped, but that doesn't prevent it from tackling all forms of content, from MP3 to subscription WMA, to AVI--even TXT.
The Cowon D2 is dominated by a 2.5-inch touch screen perfectly suited to watching those recorded TV shows. The camera doesn't do the display justice; it's beautifully bright and crisp.
The D2 is compact enough to be hidden away in most pockets--except maybe the tiny coin pocket on those tight jeans we know you've been eyeing.
The right edge of the D2 features a standard 3.5mm headphone jack, but we don't recommend sticking the included headphones in there--they sound terrible. Hidden under a sturdy flap are two mini-USB ports and a reset button.
The top of the D2 features a power/hold slider, as well as a menu key and volume toggles. Plus, there's a mic up there for taking voice notes.
The stylus also acts as a handy kickstand. Depending on which way you insert it into the slot, it props the D2 up at either a 50- or a 75-degree angle.
The Cowon D2 comes in black or white versions, but the white is offered only in 4GB, whereas the black comes in either 2GB or 4GB flavors.
