Processed raw

This is the same shot as the previous slide, but a processed raw version that I then cropped at 75 percent. It can't compete with shots from a camera with a larger sensor, but considering the size and price of the FZ300, I'm not complaining.

Processed raw

This is the same shot as the previous slide, but it's a raw version I processed with Photoshop and saved as a JPEG. I left in some grain, but you get better detail and color, making it worth the few extra minutes it takes.

4K photo

This is a frame grab from the camera's 4K video shot at 600mm. The inset image is a still grabbed at 25mm, so you can see the distance covered by the lens, and the circle in the middle is around the bird. View at 100 percent.
