After you're done fiddling with filters and effects, you can share your photo or video with the Instagram community, as well as post it to Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, Flickr, and Foursquare.

Alternatively, you can now send private photos and videos with Instagram Direct, which only shares a 'gram to people you specify in the app.

Your profile shows a short bio and a grid of your recent uploads. There are tabs to view photos you've been tagged in, and also your photo map.

You can view all of your photos on a map, provided you've added a geotag to the images and video you share with Instagram. Your photos are stacked in groups until you get close enough to see them separate into different locations.
