With the 50th anniversary of human spaceflight having come and gone, NASA has teamed up with SpaceFarm 7 to create seven corn mazes around the U.S. with space themes. The mazes are in seven regions of the U.S., each representing that area's "contribution to NASA."

Each is open for public visits and will have an educational component. Members of the public can vote on their favorite between now and the end of October and a winner will be chosen at random for a free trip to Kennedy Space Center.

"When the plans were explained to NASA, the agency was happy to contribute design themes and recommendations for each region, as well as education and outreach materials so that the public can learn more about NASA," the space agency wrote on its Web site.
