In the same style as the trackpads in its Mac line, Apple's iPhone 7 Plus has a Taptic Home button.

This new Home button is designed to be more durable and responsive with use.

The two rear cameras can be used independently for wide angle or telephoto shots. Apple also added an enhanced zoom functionality. It uses images from both cameras to give a digital 10x zoom.

The iPhone 7 Plus has two rear cameras: one camera has a 28mm lens (like the iPhone 7) and a the other a 56mm telephoto lens. The housing for the two cameras is built into the alumium body of the phone.

The iPhone 7 Plus allows users a simple 1x optical zoom with the 28mm wide angle lens.

The iPhone 7 Plus also allows users a 2x optical zoom with the 56mm telephoto.

The iPhone 7 Plus can use both rear cameras to give photos an equivalent of a 10x zoom.

The iPhone 7 Plus has another camera trick up its sleeve: bokeh. Bokeh is the blurry background you see in photos usually taken with a dSLR. Apple is calling the effect Depth of Field.

To use Depth of Field, you select Portrait Mode in the Camera app. This engages the telephoto lens on the phone. A live preview displays what Apple's Depth of Field effect looks like before you take the photo.

The iPhone 7 Plus has a display that is 25 percent brighter than the iPhone 6S Plus'.

The rumors are indeed true: there won't be an analog headphone jack on the iPhone 7 Plus. Headphones will connect via the Lightning port or using Bluetooth.

The iPhone 7 Plus will come with EarPods that have a Lightning connector.

The iPhone 7 Plus will not only come with new Lightning EarPods, but they will also come with a dongle (Lightning-to-3.5mm analog adapter). The dongle allows you to use headphones with an analog headphone jack.

Apple announced new wireless headphones called AirPods. They cost $159 and will be available in late October.

The AirPods only play music back when each AirPod is placed within your ears.

This is a first: stereo speakers on an iPhone! They put out twice the volume of the speaker on the iPhone 6S.

The iPhone 7 Plus uses a new A10 Fusion chip. It is 64-bit and has 4 core processors. It's 40 percent faster than the A9 chip found in the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus.
