Each year at the giant E3 video game show, the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences runs a curated exhibition, called Into the Pixel, of concept paintings from a wide variety of video games and artists.

For 2010, the exhibit included 20 jury-selected images from a series of games. The E3 conference was held this week in Los Angeles.

This is "Wasteland," from Disney Epic Mickey. The painting was created by AJ Trahan, Jordan Lamarre, Matt Hall, and Donny Hamilton.
