No matter where you are in a magazine, the Table of Contents is always one tap away. Of course, using it is not as fun as scrolling through thumbnails, but it is efficient when you know exactly where you want to jump.

If you're not all that interested in visual styling, switch to Text mode to enhance readability. In this mode, you can adjust text size.

A quick tap on the page pulls up the nifty thumbnail viewer. It's much more visual than the Table of Contents, which makes it a better way to skim through issues.

Switch to View Recent to get a cover flow-style carousel of your titles, which is a lot more attractive than the static list.
