The control panel sits atop the lower right door, meaning you need to open a door in order to use it. One of its best features is the option of switching that lower right section between freezer and fridge mode -- you know, in case you somehow manage to run out of room up top.
The fridge comes with two stainless steel "Chef Pans" -- they slide into place beneath a shelf, allowing you to store and marinate meals. When you're ready to cook, they can go straight into the oven, then on into the dishwasher.
