Biography: Lee Grant is a photographer currently residing in suburban Canberra where she is undertaking a Masters in Research at the Australian National University in the department of Photography and Media Arts. She returned to photography after a 10-year domestic hiatus, and in between pursuing children, pets and bill-paying jobs, Lee now likes to go on suburban safaris where she meets and photographs all kinds of interesting people and places.

Her next show will be in the exhibition "Inheritance" at the Australian Centre for Photography in Sydney from 1 May to 6 June 2009.

Lee is also the curator of Light Journeys, a new website that will soon be launched to promote and support Australian women working in photography. Her main website can be found at www.leegrant.net.
