Samsung was one of many manufacturers to announce a 3D Blu-ray player at CES 2010, but it was the only one to include a "3D effect" in the exterior design, with its see-through top cover. The BD-C6900 includes built-in Wi-Fi and access to streaming media services like Netflix, Pandora, Vudu, and Picasa through Samsung Apps.
The Samsung BD-C5500 is the step-down to the BD-C6500 Blu-ray player. It's Wi-Fi ready (which means it requires a USB Wi-Fi dongle, sold separately), supports Samsung Apps, and has low power consumption (13 watts while in use.)
Along with the standalone Blu-ray players, Samsung released a new line of Blu-ray home-theater-in-a-box (HTIB) systems. The HT-C7530W is a 5.1 home theater system with wireless rear speakers and a nature-inspired "Touch of Color" design. Like the BD-C5500, it's Wi-Fi-ready and requires a USB dongle (sold separately) for wireless connectivity, and it also supports the Samsung Apps platform of streaming media services.
