Early in the morning on March 31, 2012, hundreds of photographers all around Australia got together to participate in the second Google+ photo walk.

In Sydney, 225 photographers made the pilgrimage to Cockatoo Island, while other capital cities across the country had their own walks taking in the sights of the nation. Joining the Sydney walkers was Brian Rose, the Google+ photos community manager, who flew in all the way from Santa Monica.

Thank you to everyone who submitted shots for this gallery. Make sure to check in at #thewalkdownunder tag on Google+ to see plenty more amazing shots. Australia, be proud: this was the first nationwide photo walk held anywhere in the world.

REVIEW

The most beautiful phone ever has one wildly annoying issue

he Samsung Galaxy S8's fast speeds and fantastic curved screen make it a top phone for 2017, but the annoying fingerprint reader could sour your experience.
