In response to the May 11 article, "TiVo subscribers complain of glitches":

Thanks for your article on "stuttering TiVos." I am not at home now, but I, too, have a dead TiVo waiting to be packed up and returned to Philips for replacement at a cost of $99.95, plus shipping, because it is out of its 90-day warranty (!) for labor.

Like everyone else, my problem did not start until the software upgrade, but it did begin immediately thereafter. Please keep an eye on this issue. I'm sure we won't be hearing the last of this for some time.
