When trudging through the snow, why not look like you're on a mission for Darth Vader himself? Now you can dress like an Imperial Snowtrooper, as seen at the famous Battle of Hoth in "The Empire Strikes Back," thanks to Anovos.

You don't need your own AT-AT Imperial Walker to look the part. This Imperial Snowtrooper ensemble is priced at $2,000 (about £1,290 or AU$2,450) and available for preorder now for North American customers, with estimated shipping in August 2015. Customers outside of North America can subscribe to the Anovos newsletter for updates on international sales.

This highly detailed, officially licensed suit features everything you'll need to serve the Empire, except for undergarments, socks and footwear.

The ensemble includes breastplate armor with replicated button and greeble details, and a backplate with an attached fully functional backpack. The suit also has a codpiece, vambrace and spaulders.

A decorative buckle with a webbed belt, cloth pouches and a rear belt cylinder round out the outfit. The gloves have demi-gauntlet style armor and elastic wristbands.

The armor is made with high-quality PVC plastic with finished undersides, backs and insides. To ensure the authentic look of the armor, the hard pieces were 3D scanned and replicated from Lucasfilm costume and prop artifacts.

Anovos is serious about getting its costumes perfect, recommending that before ordering any replica suits, customers have their measurements taken by a professional tailor. You can refer to this sizing and measurement guide to figure out the correct measurements.

The costume company launched its line of high-end "Star Wars" replica costumes in April this year, with Luke Skywalker's Bespin uniform and Darth Vader's intimidating garb, as well as Han Solo's signature outfit. Recently, Anovos added both the TIE Fighter pilot or Imperial Officer suits for fans and cosplayers to purchase.

No word yet on replica costumes from female characters such as Princess Leia or Queen Amidala, but hopefully Anovos will also cater to female fans wanting to show off their love for "Star Wars."
