The top 250 films on IMDB — plus an extra 53 — appear in this YouTube mash-up. How many can you identify?
OK, so technically it's 303 films in two minutes and 56 seconds, but that doesn't sound as cool.
YouTube user Jonathan Keogh has made a few of these mash-ups, but this is his most ambitious project in the arena to date. He set out to do just IMDB's top 250 movies, but decided that the film website's list was lacking in a few areas.
He said, "From what I can gather, each film that makes it on the list has to have a rating of at least 8/10 on IMDB. After all, this is a democracy, so each film does appear because of a substantial amount of votes. However, I couldn't put The Avengers in without Ferris Bueller, and I wasn't going to let Scarface slide if Bringing Out The Dead wasn't in there, too."
The scenes change far too rapidly to create any sort of list of the ones we recognise, but it's certainly fun to try.
