Twitter might not be finding a buyer anytime soon.
The social network has reportedly been eyed by a number suitors over the past several weeks, but Salesforce.com remained the one most likely to make a bid. However, Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff told the Financial Times that his company is no longer in contention.
"In this case we've walked away. It wasn't the right fit for us," Benioff told the publication. Salesforce confirmed Benioff's quote to CNET, but didn't have further comment. Twitter declined to comment.
Previous buyers rumored to be in consideration included Google, Disney and Apple, but all three have allegedly bowed out.
