The winners of our World Cup competition

Three readers were flown to Germany to watch England's match against Trinidad and Tobago. Green with envy? You should be...

There was a rare moment of quiet in Crave's office last Thursday as we crowded round our 42-inch plasma telly to watch England's agonising match against Trinidad and Tobago. Punctuated by frustrated shouts at England's missed opportunities, most of the match was watched in strained silence as the Caribbean minnows put up a solid fight. We can barely imagine what the atmosphere would have been like in the Nuremberg stadium, but three lucky readers were there to experience it first hand.

David Matthews from Surrey, James Roe from Derby and Toby Miller from Middlesex were flown to Germany and watched the action live in Nuremberg's Frankenstadion, after winning's World Cup competition, which was run in conjunction with Toshiba.

David tells us he had an "incredible" day that he will never forget, and he does indeed look pretty cheerful in the above photo, which was taken just before kickoff. If you're sick as a parrot that you missed out on this opportunity, make sure you bookmark's Win Things page, where we're regularly adding more competitions. There's still a few more weeks to go in our World Cup headers competition, where you can win one of four fabulous Samsung E770 phones. What are you waiting for? -IM
