Call it Woz 2.0.
"I'm nervous like a new product being introduced
," Apple co-founder and tech legend Steve Wozniak said Saturday at the first-ever Silicon Valley Comic Con, in his hometown of San Jose, California.
The cause of his nervousness wasn't just the crowd, it involved the presence onstage of a life-size replica of the Woz himself, courtesy of the famous wax museum chain Madame Tussauds.
"I'm so honored," Wozniak continued. "I've always wanted to be in a wax museum...like other comic figures that are idolized."
Woz, as he's known in tech circles, marveled at the "incredible" art and precision involved in capturing his every angle. "It's just the greatest thing ever," he said, as he revealed that he had to sit in front of multiple cameras for five hours.
After the convention, waxy Woz will permanently reside at the Madame Tussauds wax museum at San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf.
