TBS debuts online mag for 15- to 24-year-olds

Turner Broadcasting System tomorrow will launch Spiv, an online magazine aimed at 15- to 24-year-olds. The magazine's original content will cover music, fashion, current events, and technology.

Turner Broadcasting System will make its first foray into original online programming tomorrow with the launch of Spiv, a magazine for 15- to 24-year-olds.

According to TBS officials, the magazine gets its name from a British slang term used to describe someone who lives by his or her wits.

Spiv's debut edition features four destinations: Antidote, an overview of the indie music scene; Zooey, a section covering fashion and trends; Shiitake, a blend of current events and philosophy; and Nrrrd, a technology section.

Company officials say they hope to expand the site to include ten sections by the end of the year
