Take-Two sets new filing deadline

Game publisher Take-Two Interactive Software filed documents Tuesday with the Securities and Exchange Commission to delay reporting of financial results for its fiscal fourth quarter and full year that ended Oct. 31, 2001. The company now has until Feb. 13 to file. Take-Two is restating earnings extending through fiscal year 2000 to account for games returned by retailers that were incorrectly listed as sales. Trading in the company's stock has been halted since it announced last week that financial reports would be further delayed.
