The Swap Rebel watch phone has gone on sale, available for around £190 SIM-free from all good purveyors of tat.
It's available in five colours -- green, white, black, pink and orange -- and packs a 1.5-inch, colour touchscreen, with a 176x132-pixel resolution. It also comes with a mini stylus for those who find their fingers just too fat to accurately poke the screen.
The built-in camera can shoot stills and video, but photos are captured at a lowly resolution of 640x480 pixels. The phone also includes Bluetooth connectivity so you can pair it with, rather than talking into your wrist like some kind of unspeakable plonker.
There's a USB port for data transfer, and the watch supports microSD cards of up to 8GB. It'll also play back your tunes and movies, although you might want to avoid using the built-in speaker on the bus, unless you like getting punched in the face.
The Rebel certainly isn't the first phone you can strap to your arm. We were charmed by last year's, for example, despite its ludicrous price.
We'll have a review for you lickety-split. In the meantime, let us know in the comments section below whether the Rebel appeals to you or makes you shudder to the very core of your being.
