Star Wars film saga retold in a three-minute video

Remix master Eclectic Method pays tribute to Jedi masters, Sith Lords, droids and Wookiees in the ultimate Star Wars recap video.

Warning: The video above contains spoilers, so only watch it, and read the article below, if you've seen all six Star Wars movies.

Star Wars fans who haven't memorized all six films leading up to the upcoming "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" might need a primer on everything that's happened to the Skywalker family, R2-D2, C-3PO, Yoda, Han Solo, Chewbacca and everyone in between.

In the video "Star Wars so far" by Eclectic Method, we get a very quick summary -- as in three minutes -- of anything crucial you might want to remember from the entire Star Wars saga, which includes both the Star Wars original trilogy and the prequels.

Eclectic Method is actually Jonny Wilson. It's best known for its danceable audio-visual remixes that gained acclaim in the 2009 documentary "Copyright Criminals" that celebrated the creativity of music sampling.

In past videos, Eclectic Method has paid homage to Yoda, Chewbacca, lightsaber battles and droids like R2-D2 and C-3PO.

This isn't the only recent video to offer a quick recap of the Star Wars movies in the weeks leading up to "The Force Awakens." YouTube duo Benny and Rafi Fine, known as the Fine Brothers, filmed a 6-minute video that recaps everything important that's ever happened in the Star Wars original trilogy films "A New Hope," "The Empire Strikes Back" and "Return of the Jedi."

The video, titled "Star Wars in 1 take in 6 minutes," shows the Fine Brothers dressed as Jedi Knights explaining Luke Skywalker's quest to save Princess Leia, prove himself as a great asset to the Resistance and of course his training with both Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda, and his ultimate battles with Darth Vader.
