Can't wait to get your hands on the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc? Sorry, we can't bring its release date any nearer, or even confirm when that will be. But we can say with certainty that operator Three will be selling it.
The network has announced it will be adding the Arc to its smart-phone lineup "soon", while declining to reveal a launch date or even a price. The handset will be the first smart phone to launch on Three with thesoftware preloaded.
Three's blog post announcing the news encourages customers to pair the Arc with an All You Can Eat One Plan, which starts at £25 a month. Other previously known features for the Arc include a huge 4.2-inch Bravia-branded touchscreen, an 8.1-megapixel camera, a 1GHz processor and HDMI connectivity.
The Arc isn't yet listed on Three's Coming Soon page, which currently lists devices due to go on sale in February. Last week, a product listing on retailer Play suggested , so we'll be interested to see if Three gets its hands on the device early.
When we clapped eyes on the Xperia Arc earlier this year, we were impressed by its slimline styling, the Bravia display and its Exmor R camera sensor. Pair that with a properly unlimited data tariff, and it's a seductive prospect for Android fans in the market for a new smart phone.
Here's Three's promo video for the device, which gives a good tour of its features, accompanied by suitably headache-inducing camera-work.
