Short Take: Toshiba hooks up with EnThink

Toshiba America Electronic Components said it will license chip designs from Santa Clara-based EnThink. The move will allow the integration of technology for allowing IEEE 1394 connectors into Toshiba's chips for Internet appliances. These devices can be connected to PCs and other computers running Windows 98, NT, and CE, the companies said. No terms of the agreement were announced.
